Hi, this is Aubrey from esl-lab.com and I just wanted to show you the carrots I’ve been growing. You know, my dad plants a garden every year, and I always say that I’m going to, but I usually just end up with a pot of dirt. So, I now have cute little carrots in nice, neat rows and we will see how this goes.

Explanation: When Aubrey speaks of a “pot of dirt,” she means to say that she often had a space to plant things in the past, but she never planted anything, so the pot remained empty.
